- What is Real Sisters Rising about? How do I get involved?
Real Sisters Rising mission is to promote economic empowerment, with member participation, networking and training workshops where quality professionals of diverse cultures meet new contacts, build relationships and grow businesses, connecting quality people to quality resources. We also have opportunities to give you more exposure for your products and services through marketing and distribution opportunities. We also provide you with a community of like-minded women who can be your source for referrals, information, ideas and inspiration! You can get more involved by becoming a member and being an active member in your chapter.
- What is Real Sisters Rising and who is it for?
We are a national networking organization for women entrepreneurs. The organization is designed to give women a positive environment to grow professionally and personally.
- How can I become a Chapter President?
If there is a Chapter in your area, contact the local leader for co-leading opportunities. If you are interested in bringing the program to your region and there is not an existing chapter within driving distance, contact our Chapter Coordinator (support@realsistersrising.com). Please note, there is a fee attached to this opportunity.
5. All I have is an idea. I want to start my own business. How can Real Sisters Rising WBA help me get it off the ground?
Real Sisters Rising goal is to help you get your business to reach the next level of success! We’ll give you the motivation and the tools you need to turn your dreams to reality. Tools such as teleclasses, workshops, and a panel of experts who will work with you.
- I already have a thriving business. What can Real Sisters Rising do for me?
Real Sisters Rising WBA can help you get to the next level in your business or in your life. Women never stop growing and this organization will help you stay inspired and make new connections. We can also position you as an expert in your industry within our network.
- Can Real Sisters Rising help me write a business plan?
Real Sisters Rising can give you sample plans and connect you with other women who have advice to share about what to include in a business plan.
- How can I become a Rising Star of the Month?
To be considered, you must have a Premium Membership and be an active member online and / or attend live chapter events. In addition complete Rising Star Submission Form.
- How much does it cost to advertise on Real Sisters Rising WBA website and what is available to me?
Many advertising opportunities are included with your Premium membership. You will receive notice via email, member only community, or newsletters.
- How can I “Partner” with Real Sisters Rising WBA? I have something great to offer.
There are many ways you can partner with us. There are member only partnerships and partnerships for non-member entrepreneurs. (See partnership opportunities)
- How can I terminate my membership?
In the event a member decides to cease membership with RSRWBA, no fees are refundable. Members who wish to rejoin RSRWBA (at their previous chapter or at a different chapter) must submit a new application and pay the full Yearly Membership Fee. The rejoining member must have left their previous chapter in good standing (to be decided by the chapter President and/or RSRWBA), including being current on all Meeting Fees.
Step 1: Inform Chapter President of your decision. If you still wish to terminate your membership….
Step 2: Login to the members portal and under Member Account, choose Cancel Membership.
Step 4: You will receive a confirmation letter in the mail within 30 days of termination.
